This wildlife kingfisher bird is called Kookaburra. It is native to Australia and mainly found on dry land and near to water source. The name is given due to its mimicking of a human laugh. Sometimes, it is called the laughing Kookaburra.

Guilin - River and Hill Landscape
Guilin has one of the best natural landscapes on Earth. The city abounds in scenic spots such as Elephant Trunk Hill, the symbol of Guilin's scenery and Reed Flute Cave with stalagmites and stalagmites with striking shapes and colors. One's must take the boat ride from Guilin to Yangshuo is the centerpiece of any trip to Guilin, with hundreds of hills flanking the Li Jiang's emerald water.

Thaipusam: A Ritual Human Art
According to Wikipedia, the festival commemorates both the birthday of Murugan (alsoSubramaniam), the youngest son of god Shiva and his wifeParvati, and the occasion when Parvati gave Murugan a vel(spear) so he could vanquish the evil demon Soorapadman. To me, it is a form of ritual art which is to test the human spirit to carry kavadi (such as below) to re-pay the idol god for averting great calamity in their lives.
